Honda will once again become a proud sponsor of the Sasquatch! Music Festival. Honda will use the festival, which is held over Memorial Day Weekend in George, Washington, to highlight the all-new, ninth-generation Civic. This marks the second year in a row that Honda will present the Big Foot Stage and a Honda Zone.
The Sasquatch! Music Festival features an eclectic mix of indie rock bands, singer-songwriters, alternative rockers, and hip hop acts. Bands confirmed to hit the stage in George this year include Foo Fighters, Death Cab for Cutie, Modest Mouse and Wilco.
“We have found that Civic owners are as passionate about great music as they are the environment,” said Tom Peyton, senior manager of Honda national advertising. “Honda’s participation in Sasquatch! allows our company to combine two issues that our owners care about into a single, fun event.”
The all-new 2012 Honda Civic now boasts six distinct models: the conventional gasoline-powered Civic Sedan and Civic Coupe, two high-performance Civic Si models, a gasoline-electric Civic Hybrid, a Civic Natural Gas and an all-new Civic HF high fuel economy model. Each model will be highlighted at the event, held May 27-30.
